Grower Spotlight | Del Christensen
Our newest grower spotlight is here, featuring Del Christensen! Del is a 3rd generation farmer who enjoys farming potatoes and onions with his family in Mattawa, Washington.
Originally from Shelley, Idaho, the Christensen family relocated to Washington, where Del helped his dad clear land to establish their farm in Mattawa. Del has lived in Mattawa ever since and has watched the landscape change from sagebrush to an area covered in farmland. Del raised his five boys in Mattawa, and four of his sons continue to farm with him today. Working with his boys has been one of the most rewarding aspects of farming for Del. As a family, they motivate each other to work hard to produce the best crops possible.
We want to give a big shoutout to Del and his family for their hard work! It has been a pleasure to have Del as a grower for so many years, and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue working with him. Thank you, Del, for all you do!
